Pokémon TCG: Primarina- GX CHALLENGE BOX

The Pokémon TCG Primarina is one of the latest rollouts in the Japanese Pokemon Cards series. The Challenge Box seems to be everywhere and most comments about it are positive.

This means that they either have excellent PR (you’re not a doubting Thomas, you’re an experienced Pokémon enthusiast) or are actually worth their salt. The question is which is it?

Luckily, in this review by a fellow experienced Pokémon enthusiast, we’ll be finding out which it is.

Let’s get right into it!

HOW’S IT PACKAGED?

One thing is for certain, the design team of the Pokémon TCG Primarina deserves a raise and deserves one now. The blue-water theme is nothing short of amazing. The box measures 12.38 x 1.5 x 9.13 inches. And in case you have no interest in getting a measurement tape out, it’s a rather standard size. The box is built to be displayed- if you ask me- and is one of those boxes you will treasure almost as much as their content.

The box embodies a bright-tide theme and is definitely a stunner. As usual with Pokémon challenge boxes, it’s made of paper and plastic. Of course, it requires careful handling but it is no fragile egg. Yes, you can heave a sigh of relief.

I would definitely rate the packaging a five out of five.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

The Pokémon TCG Primarina Challenge Box includes:

  • 1 complete theme deck: the deck has a bright-tide theme that we just love.
  • 1 foil card: this gem features the Primarina- GX
  • 1 oversize foil card: Yes, you guessed it; it also features the Primarina- GX
  • 2 Pokémon TCG: These are sun and moon booster packs
  • A code card: This, of course, is used for trading cards online

As you probably know, the cards which each box gets differ.

Now, let’s get into it:

THE BEST OF THE POKÉMON TCG PRIMARINA

The water-type Pokémon is exquisite in this challenge box.  Not only are the moves a thrill and delight, but they are also a wonderful addition to your TCG collection. And if you’re just starting out, the Pokémon TCG Primarina is definitely a nice way to begin your collection.

This challenge box makes quite the gift for any Pokémon card lover. If you love Pokémon card games and are thinking of gifting the Pokémon TCG Primarina to someone else, here’s a tip you’ll appreciate: get one for yourself too. Or you might just find yourself breaking the “no takesies backsies” rule. And while we would forgive you and understand, your friend probably won’t.

 IS IT WORTH THE CASH?

The Pokémon TCG Primarina is extremely enjoyable to play. It’s even better if you have a challenger who’s just as good– or better than you -to battle with. The hype is definitely not just the PR team (although they did do an excellent job) and if you make the purchase from a legitimate source, there is no doubt that you will enjoy this challenge box for years and definitely boost up your collection.
